Re: Bank Transfer to Petty Cash

Dear Anant Patel,

Thanks for your answer. I know this process. this petty cash is for others petty cash. Actually in our system with have a petty created for 5 entities.

I can make the replenishment for others petty cash based in others entity, but I cannot do it for my own company petty.

This is not like when yo make an outgoing check (then approval--> you can print the check) here there is a process. We would like to have the same but for petty cash.

Currently for my Petty cash--> I need before to request an email approval from my manager then make a manual check--> go to the bank and get the cash on my hand and then i make an incoming cash.

I hope you understand my request.

Thanks,

Johanna

Hi Hari,

Opening Quick Create(on selecting copy button on OWL) with the fields copied from the selected record in the OWL Screen.

I have business scenario in which I have to open the quick create in the owl screen by clicking on the copy button and fields should be copied from the selected record in the owl screen.Please find the attached screen shot for reference.Kindly provide the documentation for the same or how to implement that functionality.I think so some font end scripting must be use here.But I am new to front end scripting and not know how to implement it on the OWL screen.

Dynamic stock

Hi,

        I have created a report to reflect the stock situation of products and also show the relevant movements in a selected time period. I want to show the dynamic stock with each change in the movement (similar to MB51 in ECC) and have created a restricted key figure to be able to do this. The data source is a join between confirmation journal and material ledger account aggregated.

If anyone can give pointers either to this key figure or other ways of reporting on dynamic inventory it would be much appreciated.

Krishna

Hi Vishal,

I cannot also update  Safety Stock Quantity if the value is zero. It works as expected with other quantities except zero.

You should raise an incident.

Fred

Hi Vishal,

It is not possible to nullify a value of parameter in Material Master Data. In this case, your requirement is to nullify the Safety Stock for materials. This is not possible using Mass Change or Migration or through Mass Data Maintenance functionalities.

Basically, using Mass Change of Materials, Mass Data Maintenance or using Migration, you can modify a existing value or add a new value to the parameter but its not possible to nullify the values due to technical constrains. 0 is always considered as a null value. Hence it is not possible to change any parameter to zero (0) using Mass Change.

IP ranges depends upon the data center locations in this case the IP address 155.56.208.68 is an outbound connection that is initiated by the an SAP system directed to the customer.

Hi,

I wonder whether we can use transaction codes in SAP BYD, i couldn't find the command field.

Transaction codes are meant to navigate easily like we use shortcuts in windows right?

i could find some Tcodes for SAP BYD from some websites like:

FD32, MGMT

Hi Aneesh,

We do not have a T-code concept in the ByD to navigate for Front-end transactions screens.

Hi Fernando,

ByD offers a web service to query and read ByD Code Lists:

How to get ByDesign Code Lists via Web Service QueryCodeListIn

For country codes the web service request looks as follows:

<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:glob="http://sap.com/xi/SAPGlobal20/Global">

   <soapenv:Header/>

   <soapenv:Body>

      <glob:CodeListByIDQuery_sync>

         <CodeListSelectionByID>

            <SelectionByCodeDataType>

               <Name>CountryCode</Name>

               <NamespaceURI>http://sap.com/xi/AP/Common/GDT</NamespaceURI>

            </SelectionByCodeDataType>

            <SelectionByLanguageCode>EN</SelectionByLanguageCode>

         </CodeListSelectionByID>

      </glob:CodeListByIDQuery_sync>

   </soapenv:Body>

</soapenv:Envelope>

Hi Jaydeep,

Go to Application & User Management work center

Select 'Employee Work Distribution' under Task  Distribution.

Edit > Approver for Payables/ Approver for Liquidity Management as per your requirement

Select the 'Employee responsible' and other details.

Then payments will go for approval as per the above settings that you make.

Please mark it as answered/helpful if we answered your query.

Thanks

Dear Jay,

This is not possible currently in runtime.

Only workaround is to send invoices to a mail ID and then manually change file name to desired format.

Thanks & Regards,
Sanath

HI,

I can only specify company and employee responsible.

I need the approval to be based on cost center manager/purchasing unit manager.

Hi Jaydeep,

In the dropdown for the employee responsible , do you see the cost center manager ?

For the employee ( who is the cost center manager/purchasing unit manager ) did you already assigned 'Managing My Area' please check.

Thanks

Good afternoon Eelco

If you go to log a new incident, the first screen you see is the access to references, type the 2144024 into the search field and it will be visible. Once you have read the article, close the screens as there is no need to log a call.

Alastair
