Assigning companies to sets of books

Hi Experts

ByDesign allows for multi-GAAP reporting. It also allows you to prepare parallel sets of financial statements based on different charts of accounts.

I have a couple of questions

1) Posting between the books happens automatically, can this be controlled or prevented for some GL accounts?

2) If you have two separate chart of accounts one for GAAP and IFRS, do you need to create a mapping between the two GL charts?
