I'll explain as:

From the solution, Add a new item:

Select the extended standard object.  You can enable access control.

Select the required fields (Here you select the extended field).

Next to step 4. In this step, select the links if necessary.

Next to finish. Then locate the datasource in the workplace Business Analytics -> Design Data Sources
