BYD -> BW Integration

Hello,

Does anyone know if the Datasources in BYD are the same models as standard infocubes in BW ?

For example if there is a customer master Datasource in BYD, does this match exactly an infocube in SAP BW ?

We would like to integrate the datasource MDAV's to BW and want to know if they need to be completely changed for integration.
