For B2B companies that deliver to Retail organizations, the concept of (postponed) Rebates is essential. However it seems to be missing in BYD. Companies that produce consumer products, such as food, really need this functionality. The process should be the following:
1. A rebate agreement is made between company and customer
2. For each and every sale, the rebate is calculated
- the rebate is not deducted from the invoice amount
- a provision is booked for the rebate
- cost are posted for the rebate
5. after the rebate period ends, the accumulated rebate is paid out to the customer
any suggestions for add-ons or 3rd party solutions are more than welcome.
