Hello,
I have some hints for you that may help you localize the problem:
1. The outlook mail ID should be maintained in the ByDesign system. If
the user oultook mail ID is SAPcustomer@company.com,
please maintain the same email ID SAPcustomer@company.com in the ByDesign system. Also, this mail id should be unique and no other user should have added this mail ID in the ByDesign
system. This is the configuration required for synchronization to work. If necessary
please create another outlook profile for the email ID.
2. Does the e-mail land in drafts on the Outlook side?
3. Do you use a Google exchange server in addition to Outlook exchange server? This is not supported
4. Check your business configuration for Open Activity List > All activities.
Should the above not help, please create a ticket on SRD-CC-OIN-GW. Alternatively you can send me your logfiles, accessed here:
- Open Outlook and navigate to the SAP Business ByDesign Tab
- Click on Help
- Click on Show Log File Directory
- A Windows Explorer window will open with a list of log files and
folders. Pack all files and folders into one archive (*.zip file) and send them to Douglas.Kisinger.Thompson@sap.com
Can you please let me know which Microsoft Office version you are using and which version of the SAP Outlook AddIn is currently installed on your system (this can be found in the Help section of the AddIn).
