I am proposing you a work round for you requirement.

There are two Parts for this work round

1) All you Asset related GL must be with Posting status of "Only Automatic Posting Allowed"

2) Please get into Asset master Data --> Asset Valuation and change Depreciation Method to No Depreciation Allowed"

This will make sure that you wont post any further Depreciation to Asset master and to its Accumulated Depreciation GL.
